MUCH MORE THAN JUST A SURFING COMPETITION.

For over 45 years, the Caraïbos Lacanau Pro has been transforming Lacanau’s central beach into an open-air water sports festival every summer. A legendary professional surfing competition, a seaside skatepark, concerts every evening and an entertainment village – all free of charge and open to everyone.

Whether you’re a fan of surfing, skateboarding or music, or just passing through, come and have a look!

An iconic 45th edition

This year, the Caraïbos Lacanau Pro marks a symbolic milestone: 45 editions of waves, legends and surf culture.
From 8 to 14 July 2026, the event will mark this anniversary with a visual identity inspired by its origins, and
a programme that remains true to the spirit of its recent editions.

Qualifiers, finals, Goats of Laca, fireworks, live concerts, DJ sets…

The Caraïbos Lacanau Pro programme has some wonderful surprises in store, so you can enjoy the week to the rhythm of the competition
